At the San Diego Comic-Con Paramount announced that Leonard Nimoy would reprise his role as Mr. Spock in J.J. Abrams' new Star Trek film, which debuts on December 25, 2008. Newcomer Zachary Quinto (24) will portray the young Spock in the new film and director J.J. Abrams told the Comic-Con crowd that he was trying hard to find a way to get William Shatner (Captain Kirk) into the film as well.
