The voice cast for Futurama is apparently not on board for the revival as originally announced (see “Futurama Returns”), and talks have broken down between Fox and the cast: Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille. Fox announced that it is seeking to replace the cast because it “could not meet their salary demands.”
The two sides could still reconcile; similar threats were made during negotiations with The
Simpsons voice cast a few years back, and The Simpsons has had the same cast for its entire 20 year history.
