Borders Group is cutting its corporate staff by 124 jobs, or 10%, as it tries to adjust to sales that continue to decline (see “Borders Down 13.7%”).  Another 40 jobs area being cut in distribution centers. 

Borders’ CEO also resigned this week (see “Borders CEO Resigns”), another sign of difficulties for the embattled book retailer.
