Marvel’s Super Hero Squad, which is the top show for boys 6-8 on Cartoon Network, is spawning an increasing array of merchandise, including the Upper Deck trading cards, which street this week (see “Upper Deck Details Marvel Plans”).  The show is stripped and is also running on Saturdays in prime time (see “Super Hero Squad on Prime Time”). 

In addition to the trading cards from Upper Deck, Hasbro has an extensive line of toys based on the show (see “Marvel Re-Ups with Hasbro”), and recently announced that its Iron Man 2 toys would include at least one product influenced by the Super Hero Squad look (see “Hasbro’s Iron Man 2 Toys”).
