The new Conan movie (see “Rose McGowan Joins ‘Conan’ Cast”) will premiere on August 19th, 2011, according to Variety.  This puts it up against two other 3D films, Spy Kids 4 and Fright Night, in the battle for 3D screens.  But Lionsgate hopes that it will see results similar to those for its feature The Expendables, which premiered in mid-August and has taking in over $100 million to date.
