Hack/Slash returns in February in a new ongoing monthly series written by creator Tim Seeley and drawn by artist Dan Leister, the creative team behind the recent Hack/Slash: My First Maniac  mini-series.  In the first issue, while killer of killers Cassie Hack and her partner Vlad search for the Make Out Point Slasher, former teen detective Cat Curio tries to find the man who put her in a coma.

“We’ve brought in a bunch of new readers with our move to Image (see “Image Gets Hack/Slash”), and now felt like a great time to get back into an ongoing series!” Seeley said. 

Hack/Slash #1 will retail for $3.50 and will street February 9, 2011.  Seeley said the book will be both what Hack/Slash fans have come to expect and be accessible to newbies.

Eden Studios recently announced that it will produce card and roleplaying games based on Hack/Slash (see “Hack/Slash RPG and Card Games”).
