Marvel Comics will bring a new version of the Spider-Man from the 70s Japanese tokusatsu (live action with special effects, a la Power Rangers) series to the modern Spider-verse in Spider-Verse Vs. Venomverse. The character, Takuya Yamashiro, will be introduced in a new Japanese-influenced costume designed by Luciano Vecchio in Spider-Verse Vs. Venomverse #3.
The series, written by Kyle Higgins & Mat Groom, launches in May with the first issue featuring art and cover by Vecchio.
Spider-Verse Vs. Venomverse #3, with art by Jim Towe and cover by Vecchio, will street on July 23.
