Spoiler Alert--With the release of new TV spots and ad tie-ins, there are lots of clips from Joss Whedon's The Avengers out there now, and they all have their charms, but this sequence in which Agent Coulson calls in the Black Widow from an espionage mission where she is being interrogated, is too good to pass up. Those who remember the Charlie's Angels film from 2000 might recall a similar sequence with Drew Barrymore--is this Whedon's homage to McG?
Joss Whedon’s The Avengers debuts nationwide on May 4th. For a look at recent promos for the film, check out "Agent Coulson Poster & Avengers Acura Spots," "Avengers 'We Are At War' Spot," and "New 'Avengers' Spot."
