Sexy English actress Rebecca Hall (The Town, The Prestige, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) is in talks with Disney to take a key female role in Iron Man 3 that was previously linked to Jessica Chastain (see "Jessica Chastain in 'Iron Man 3'"). of movies.  Chastain wrote on her Facebook page on Sunday that "Iron Man 3 was not going to work out" with her schedule of movies.

According to Deadline the role that Hall appears poised to take is that of a scientist who can rival Tony Stark in her genius and engineering skills.  Shane Black is directing Iron Man 3 which will shoot in China and North Carolina later this year and is slated for release on May 3, 2013.
