Gen Con News: Arcane Wonders showed off the Mage Wars Core Spell Tome, a 110-card box set that features extremely useful cards from the base set that will help players with their Mage customization.  Arcane debuted its Mage Wars customizable card-driven tactical board game of dueling mages at Origins and plans a wide release here in North America this month (see "New Plans for 'Mage Wars'").

 

Thomas Allen, a story consultant for Arcane Wonders explained: "These are copies of cards from the base set, but they will help you with mage customization.  This set includes lots of cards that all the mages might find useful--the heals, the spells, it really helps expand your card pool."
