Hero Ventures, a new company with some major executives and investors, will mount a tour for "The Marvel Experience," beginning in 2014. The Marvel Experience will include a "4D" motion ride, original 3D animated features, digitally projected animation, motion comic origin stories, virtual reality and holographic simulations, original merchandise, and integrated social media "touch points" around an underlying narrative.
Attendees will step into the Marvel universe and become part of the story in a two-acre traveling dome complex developed especially for this tour.
Investors in Hero Ventures include film and TV producer (and NY Giants chairman) Steve Tisch, Roy Disney, WWE, and others.
Management includes former Live Nation chairman Michael Cole and PRG founder Jeremiah Harris, who co-produced Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, and others.
