Disney has released new images for its upcoming animated feature Big Hero 6.
The movie was announced in 2012, with a date and test footage released last year (see "'Big Hero 6' Gets Date") and is the first Disney Animation Studio feature film to directly utilize characters created by Marvel, though it is a loose adaptation of the property. The first teaser trailer will be released Thursday.

The movie plot revolves around 14-year-old prodigy Hiro Hamada and his “compassionate nurse robot” Baymax, a squishy, white, health care droid that Hiro turns into an armored fighting robot to help thwart crime in their city of San Fransokyo. Hiro joins his older brother Tadashi’s friends (Go Go Tamago, Wasabi No-Ginger, Honey Lemon, and Fred) in forming a heroic team, though the nerdy teens have no super powers, just technology and intellect.
The movie will be co-directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams (see "Chris Williams on 'Big Hero 6'"), and star the voice talents of T.J. Miller, May Rudolph and Jamie Chung. The movie opens November 7, 2014.
