Wizards of the Coasts has confirmed to ICv2 that every pack of cards for its Neopets TCG, which launches in mid-September, will contain a special prize code that consumers will be able to redeem online for virtual objects, which can be used in online activities and can only be obtained in this manner. WotC will release more details about its Neopets TCG (see 'WotC Announces Neopets TCG') in the near future, but this in-pack promotion demonstrates that the company is very serious about luring the huge online Neopets audience to the Neopets TCG. The online audience for Neopets is certainly massive, with over 47 million registered users generating more than 1.5 billion page views per month. To obtain their virtual prizes consumers will merely have to log in at neopets.com/tcg and enter the prize codes that will be included in every pack of Neopets cards.
