We haven't been following the interminable, 12-year-old battle between Slesinger Inc. and Disney over Winnie the Pooh royalties too closely, but this was too good to pass up. The Los Angeles Times has reported that Slesinger has now hired Johnnie Cochran as its attorney, and Disney is represented by former Goldman family attorney Daniel Petrocelli. The two never faced each other directly in court during the OJ trial, but will now get to do so in a struggle over the money earned by A. A. Milne's creations and who gets it.
