The Battlestar Galactica miniseries, which aired on the Sci Fi Channel this year, will appear on NBC on January 8th.  It will be cut down to three hours from its original four hour length.  This will be great exposure for the property, which will be featured in a new13-episode series that begins airing on the Sci Fi Channel on January 14th (see 'Battlestar Galactica Returns in January').  The miniseries was cable's most-watched miniseries of 2004, beating out HBO's highly lauded Angels in America.
