Geneon Entertainment has announced the upcoming launch of two new anime series, Tenjho Tenge and Kyo Kara Maoh!

Tenjho Tenge Volume 1:  Round One, scheduled to ship May 3rd, is the first anime based on a CMX/DC Comics manga title, Tinijho Tenge, by Oh! Great.  This first 100-minute volume, suggested for viewers 16 and up, will be released as a single DVD with a MSRP of $24.98 and in a limited edition collector's box with a MSRP of $34.98.  There will be 26 episodes on a total of eight volumes.

Kyo Kara Maoh! Volume 1 is scheduled for an April 19th release, at $24.98 MSRP and 125 minutes.  This series, suggested for viewers 13 and up, is based on the popular Japanese novel series that has sold over 2 million copies in its home market.  Animation production is by Studio Deen (Fruits Basket).  There will be 39 episodes on a total of nine volumes.
