Cthulhu Britannica is a licensed historical setting in the British Isles for Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu role playing game (Cubicle 7's November Releases”), and the company used Kickstarter to fund the box set in late 2013. The campaign raised £90,412 ($130,595) from 753 backers ($173.43/backer average).
The set includes three books, The Investigator’s Guide to London, The Keeper’s Guide to London, and Adventures in Mythos London, as well as six die-cut handout sheets, four poster maps and a complimentary PDF version. MSRP is $89.99. The 184-page Investigator’s Guide to London is a comprehensive guide to the capital in the 1920s containing useful information for both players and Keepers.The 128-page Keeper’s Guide to London, intended for game masters, is full of ideas for running Call of Cthulhu adventures in London, including new cults and Mythos threats, new NPCs, plot hooks and more.
The 96-page Adventures in Mythos London includes three complete, standalone adventures: Terror on the Thames, Those Poor Souls Who Dwell in Light, and The Non-Euclidean Gate.
Cubicle 7 Entertainment announced last month that it was acquired by management and had left the Rebellion group of companies (see “Cubicle 7 Bought by Management”).
