Floodgate Games will release Hedge Mage, a new tile-placement game in which wizards battle wizards, this summer. In this wizard battle, they have only two powers: to grow shrubs, and to animate garden gnomes. Players try to accumulate the most gnomes by constructing a maze to keep their gnomes in, while navigating their neighbor’s labyrinth and trying to steal away gnomes.
The game, designed by Connor Wake, with art by Josh Nelson, is for 2-4 players, ages 10 and up. It will be released June 24 at $44.95 MSRP.
Floodgate released Landmarks, a new word game by Rodrigo Rego and Danilo Valente, last summer (see "’Landmarks’").
