Fantasy Flight Games has announced the Star Wars: Force and Destiny Core Rulebook for Q3 release. This release for FFG’s third Star Wars roleplaying game will follow the Q2 release of the beginner box (see "First 'Star Wars: Force and Destiny' RPG SKU in Q2”).
The 448-page Core Rulebook includes an introduction to roleplaying in the Star Wars universe, clear and concise rules for players, details on using the narrative dice system in combat, and rules for creating Force-sensitive characters. It also features six careers, eight species, and eighteen specializations for Force-sensitive characters; detailed background on galactic geography, politics, and the Jedi and Sith orders; and information for numerous starships, vehicles, weapons and other gear. There is a catalogue of NPC adversaries, a complete intro adventure, and advice for GMs. MSRP is $59.95.
FFG also announced the Desperate Allies career supplement book for its Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG. The book is a career guide for Diplomats, which also includes three new playable species: Caamasi, Neimoidian, and Gossam; as well as new specializations for Diplomats: Advocate, Analyst, and Propagandist. It also has rules for creating Rebel bases. MSRP is $29.95. Release is planned for Q2.
