Hachette Boardgames will release Nekojima: Torii Pack, a new board game expansion by Unfriendly Games, into retail on August 20, 2025.

The new expansion to Nekojima (see "'Nekojima'") offers the cats of the island a brand-new element to hang onto.  This pack includes a Torii Gate piece, which can create a distraction for the cats.  It also adds a hanging Maneki-neko cat piece as well as a special placement rule for that piece.  This cat will bring fortune to any player that comes across it as it roams through the districts.

The expansion, plus the base game, is for one to five players, ages 7 and up, and plays in 15 minutes.  It will retail for $16.99.
