Warner Bros. has released the first two images of Melissa Benoist in her TV Supergirl costume, her look for the new series (see "CBS Has Found Its Supergirl").  Casting has been proceeding, including a couple of recent tributes to past TV shows featuring the Superman family (see "Two Blasts from the Past Cast for 'Supergirl'").

The show has a series commitment (see "Now All Major Networks Have Live-Action Comic Series"), and is expected to premiere next fall.
