Fantasy Flight Games will release Chronicles of the Gatekeeper, the first adventure supplement for the Star Wars:  Force and Destiny RPG, in Q3.  The 96-page hardcover will retail for $29.95.

The core book for the RPG is also scheduled to ship in Q3 (see "'Star Wars: Force and Destiny Core Rulebook'").

Although the adventure is designed to be used with Star Wars: Force and Destiny, it can also be integrated into an Age of Rebellion or Edge of the Empire campaign.

The adventure includes locations throughout the galaxy, a new playable species, and opponents that include local matriarchs, Clone Wars-era droids, sadistic criminals, and vicious wild beasts.

The story is set in a dark time for the Force, when in the absence of the Jedi Order, Force-sensitives search for the remnants of Jedi teaching across the galaxy.  The Gatekeeper of the holocron of a mysterious, vanished Jedi Knight offers to instruct the player in an incredible Force power if he follows where the holocron leads, but the power threatens to corrupt the soul.
