The latest subtitled trailer for the first Attack on Titan live-action movie finally shows the Survey Corps 3D Maneuver Gear in action, as well as some titan vs. titan fight footage. Funimation Entertainment will be releasing the movie in U.S. theaters ln the fall.

The Survey Corps, also known as the Scouting Legion, are the direct combat troops who attempt to destroy the monstrous titans. The gigantic titans’ only vulnerable spot is the nape of their neck, and the sword-wielding soldiers attempt to access that spot with the aid of their 3D maneuver gear.  Though the first minute of footage is mostly a retread of previous trailers, (see “Subtitled Live-Action 'Attack on Titan' Trailer”), it includes active fights, and the appearance of Eren in titan form.

The first movie opens in Japanese theaters on August 1.  The second movie opens on September 19.

FUNimation Entertainment recently obtained the rights to distribute the movie into theaters, home entertainment, video on demand and broadcast in North America.  The company plans to release the movie to theaters nationwide “later this fall” according to a statement from FUNimation’s CEO and President Gen Fukunaga.
