Rebellion Publishing will release Dan Dare: The 2000 AD Years Vol. 1, a new hardcover collection, in the UK in November and in North America the following month.  It will include stories written by Pat Mills (Nemesis), and art by Dave Gibbons (Watchmen) that have never been reprinted before.

Dan Dare was created by Frank Hampson in 1950 and first appeared in the pages of British comics magazine Eagle.  It was rebooted as a punk-fueled space opera adventure in 2000 AD in 1977.  It is these 2000 AD stories, with stories written by Mills and others including Gerry Finley-Day (Rogue Trooper), and including stories drawn by Gibbons and Italian artist Massimo Belardinelli, that are being collected for the first time in this volume.

The UK price will be £30.00 (we're guessing around $49.95 U.S.).
