Wizards of the Coast will release Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, a new Dungeons & Dragons book with the Artificer class revised for D&D 2024, in August. The new volume will include 40 layer options, with five Artificer subclasses, including a new Cartographer subclass.
Eberron: Forge of the Artificer will include 5 revised species, 18 backgrounds, and 28 feats (including the no-longer-species-locked, redesigned Dragonmarks); new spells, bastions, and magic items; and over 20 new monsters, each inspired by a campaign model. There are three campaign models set in Eberron: fantasy noir, political thriller, and pulp adventure.
Release date is August 19, with early release through local game stores on August 5. MSRP is $29.99.
The Artificer is a relatively new class; it was introduced in 2019 in Eberron: Rising from the Last War (see "’Eberron: Rising’").
WotC will release a D&D anthology volume in July (see "’D&D Dragon Delves’").
