Four new members have been added to the cast of the Netflix Luke Cage series, according to Deadline, joining Mike Colter, who will play the title role (see “Netflix Series Has… Luke Cage”). 

Simone Missick will play Misty Knight, a former NYPD officer who gets a bionic arm by Tony Stark.  She may have come to the attention of showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker (see “’Luke Cage’ Gets a Showrunner”) on Showtime’s Ray Donavan, where she did an episode during Coker’s tenure. 

Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy) will play Shades aka Alvarez, and Alfre Woodard will play Black Mariah. 

And Rosario Dawson, who is becoming the glue that holds the Netflix Marvel universe together, will appear as her character Claire Temple.  Temple was introduced in Daredevil and will also appear in Jessica Jones.
