The Valskyrr expansion adds a campaign system to the core Mistfall game. Using this system, players can improve and advance their characters over a series of Quests, which grow more difficult as the game goes on. In the end, a climactic battle against an “Epic Villain” determines the final victory or defeat. Also included are “Legacy Feats” which can be used to customize any hero, either by improving their abilities or expanding them into different areas.
A number of the features of Valskyrr can also be used in stand-alone games, using the “classic game variant”.
The expansion can be used in games with 1 to 4 players, and makes the playing time 30 to 120 minutes.
Mistfall was created by Romanian game publisher NSKN Games, and brought to the U.S. by Passport in October (see “NSKN’s Fantasy Adventure Game ‘Mistfall’ Gets U.S. Release”). In this cooperative deck-building card game, players must race against time to defeat an evil nemesis.
