Toy Fair News: At New York Toy Fair, Asmodee NA announced two expansions for their holiday hits Mysterium and T.I.M.E. Stories.
Mysterium: Hidden Signs is an expansion for Mysterium (see "Review: 'Mysterium' (Game)"). The ghost from the Grand Seance on Samhain has returned, and its presence is much stronger this time. The owner of the mansion has summoned the psychics again, and the ghost continues to refuse to speak, only conveying messages in images. Another investigative seance must be held.
The box contains 7 new characters, 7 locations, 7 objects, and 42 vision cards. The game is for 2 - 7 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 - 45 minutes. As an expansion it requires the base game to play. MSRP is $19.99, release is planned for May.
With the release of A Prophecy of Dragons, the latest expansion for T.I.M.E. Stories (see "'Thebes,' 'M.U.L.E.,' More”", Asmodee has announced the next expansion: Under the Mask. In this mission, agents are sent to Egypt, to unearth the secrets of the Pharaoh and thwart mysterious adversaries.
The box contains 142 cards including 4 promo cards unique to the first printing. As an expansion, it requires the base game to play. The game is for 2 - 4 players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 90 minutes. MSRP is $29.99 and release is planned for Q2.
