R&R Games has announced plans to release two new games this summer:  the family game Swipe Out and the party game Showdown.

Swipe Out is a reaction-based game in which players try to “swipe” the chips on the game board and make them match the pattern on their Swipe Out card. The fastest player wins the card, and the first player to collect five cards wins the game.

The game includes 25 double-sided Swipe Out cards, 4 player boards, and 100 chips.  It is designed for 2 - 4 players, ages 6 and up, and plays in about 20 minutes.  MSRP is $19.99.

In Showdown, players create matchups between famous people and fictitious characters who compete over a variety of challenges, from “Best Babysitter” to “Best Roadtrip Companion.”  Players must creatively champion their favorites in order to advance to the final showdown for the win.
