Director Seth Grahame-Smith, who’s been attached to The Flash since last fall (see “Seth Grahame-Smith in Talks for ‘The Flash’ Movie”), has left the film over creative differences, according to Hollywood Reporter.  The film would have been Grahame-Smith’s first as a director; the production expects to retain the script he wrote for the project.

The Flash was announced in 2014, with Ezra Miller attached to star (see “Warners Announces 9 More DC Movies”).  Release is planned for March 16, 2018 (see “Best in Shows – Q1 2018”).
