Valiant Entertainment will pair new launch titles, jumping-on points, or key issues with each issue of X-O Manowar, its flagship title for 2017 (see “Valiant Reveals Details for New 'X-O Manowar' Ongoing”), the company announced today.  Beginning with Wednesday, March 22, the fourth Wednesday of every month will be “X-O Manowar Wednesday,” the company said, with a significant release in addition to its core title.  The program begins with X-O Manowar #1 and Bloodshot Reborn #0 on March 22.

Drawing on its long reputation for on-time shipping, and putting its schedule in print for a year to come, Valiant will ship retailers 2017 X-O Manowar Wall Calendars which highlight X-O Manowar Wednesdays, as well as the initial order and FOC dates. The calendar will feature artwork from Lewis LaRosa (Bloodshot Reborn, Savage), Kenneth Rocafort (The Ultimates), Mico Suayan (Bloodshot Reborn), J.G. Jones (Final Crisis), and Kaare Andrews (Astonishing X-Men). The calendar will also be given away at the upcoming ComicsPRO meeting in February (see “2017 ComicsPRO Meeting Set”).

Valiant is offering a special X-O Manowar Pre-Order Edition Bundle for the first three issues which can be ordered until January 26 (see “Valiant Plans Special 'Pre-Order Editions'”). The publisher is also offering an ultra-rare all-metal cover for the first issue (see “'X-O Manowar' Goes Metal”).
