Dark Horse Comics is offering new editions of several popular graphic novels which include extra content.

The second edition of Frank Miller and Dave Gibbons’ The Life and Times of Martha Washington in the Twenty-First Century includes remastered versions of every Martha Washington comic, an extensive behind-the-scenes section, a new cover by Dave Gibbons, and an introduction by Frank Miller. The story follows a young girl’s rise from a housing project in Chicago to battle injustice and corruption. She will fight on the front lines of the second American Civil War, and blast off into space, always pursuing people’s right to liberty. The 600-page, full color, 7” x 10” trade paperback will have an MSRP of $29.99. The book releases on June 7.

The new expanded edition of Faith Erin Hicks’ Eisner-winning The Adventures of Superhero Girl (see “2014 Eisner Award Winners”) will collect the original comic, as well as include two new stories and new art from Tyler Crook, Ron Chan, Jake Wyatt, and Paulina Ganucheau. The hardcover will include a new cover by Hicks and Cris Peter, and a foreword by Kurt Busiek. The story follows the adventures of a young female superhero, who must battle monsters and also, deal with real life. The 10“ x 7” full color, 128-page hardcover has an MSRP of $16.99. Release is planned for June 14.

Too Much Coffee Man has too much content for a regular omnibus, so Dark Horse will release Too Much Coffee Man Omnibus Plus on June 7. This more-than-complete collection of Shannon Wheeler’s Eisner-winning (1995) semiautobiographical, hyperintellectual tales includes the five previous Too Much Coffee Man books as well as 32 new color story pages. The 8 ½” x 11” 600-page hardcover has an MSRP of $29.99.

Dark Horse recently announced release plans for the new Legend of Korra OGN (see “'Legend of Korra: Turf Wars - Part One'”).
