Enterplay will release Defenders of Equestria, a new set for its My Little Pony CCG, on May 1, the company told ICv2.  It will have been nearly a year since the release of the last My Little Pony CCG set, Marks of Time, last June (see “Enterplay Reveals Next ‘Pony’ Products”). 

The 140+ card booster-only set will introduce new gameplay elements with Experienced and Redeemed keywords.

In addition to fan-favorite characters, Defenders of Equestria will feature villains who have redeemed themselves by joining the ponies.

Enterplay is also upgrading its weekly OP kits.  Each kit will include 32 two-card sets, enough for eight players for a month.  Each pack will include a Discord, Party Clasher special foil and a random additional foil card that’s one of 12 hard-to-find foils, including a few never-before-released cards.
