In the most oxymoronic team-up since 'army intelligence,' porn star (and author) Jenna Jameson is penning a new comic book series for Virgin Comics.  Jenna Jameson's Shadow Hunter will debut in December with a cover by ace illustrator Greg Horn.  A 144-page trade paperback collection is slated for release next June.  Virgin is setting up a new Website JennaComix.com that will provide on-going information and previews of the new comic book series.

Shadow Hunter is the saga of a provocative superheroine who survives a near-death experience and has to fight the legions of hell for her very soul.  Jameson describes her character as someone who is 'sultry, sexy and kicks ass,' but she doesn't bare it all in this comic book series, which, though provocative and sexy, contains no nudity and, in the words of Virgin Comics CEO Sharad Devarajan, 'is intended for a mainstream audience.'
