According to Variety, AmericanLife TV, the cable network devoted to courting the baby boomer audience, purchased four iconic sci-fi series from the '60s: Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Time Tunnel, and Land of the Giants.  All produced by Irwin Allen, the series will run in a block on Thursday nights, starting at 8 p.m. on September 6th.

In addition to his many gifts to television, Allen also produced The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea films.

AmericanLife TV network is available in many parts of the country and reaches an estimated 10 million households through linear cable and some video-on-demand providers.  It boasts eclectic programming ranging from original how-to and advice series aimed at boomers to classic comedies (The Honeymooners, Mary Tyler Moore, WKRP in Cincinnati), dramas (The FBI, Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, 77 Sunset Strip), action series (Combat!, King Fu, I Spy), and western series (Maverick, Bronco, Sugarfoot) from the '50s through '90s.
