A special effects technician working on the production of Warner Bros.' The Dark Knight was killed during a 'dummy' run to set up a special effects shot involving the Batmobile.   The technician was killed when the 4x4 vehicle he was riding in hit a tree.  Reports from the special effects facility near Chertsey in Surrey indicate that the technician was in a vehicle that was following the Batmobile.  The identity of the dead man has not been released.
