FUNimation announced that it has acquired the rights to Ghost Hunt, a 25 episode Kodansha anime series based on the novel by Fuyumi Ono.  Del Rey recently launched the Ghost Hunt manga, also based on the novel (see 'Del Rey Adds Three Manga Series').   

In the story, a group of teens and others at the Shibuya Psychic Research Center investigate paranormal activity, battle evil and exorcise sprits. 

Launch is planned for Fall 2008.
