Dave Schwartz of Comic Collection in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, says that Diamond's holiday shipping schedule is later than past years and may be bad for his business:

Well, it looks as if Diamond is going to ruin my Christmas spirit, as well as my Black Friday.  Every year for the past 20+ years, the week after Black Friday, books shipped normally.  This year... books ship a day later.  There is no holiday on Friday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, but Diamond decided that the retailers could suck up that extra day of income by not making sure that we get our books on time the week AFTER Thanksgiving.  Hmm.  Let's take this a step further; Christmas and New Year are on a Tuesday.  Why are we receiving our comics on Friday instead of, say, Thursday?

Just food for thought.
