Starz/Anchor Bay is set to release the Painkiller Jane television series on DVD on March 25th.  The six-DVD box set (MSRP $49.97) will include all 22 episodes of the series along with commentaries and a featurette on the 'Making of Painkiller Jane.'  The TV series, which was based on the Event Comic series by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti, was cancelled after just one season (see 'Painkiller Jane's Prescription Runs Out').

The TV series starred Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines) as the eponymous heroine.  The Sci Fi Channel gave the green light to the production of 22 one-hour episodes of the Painkiller Jane TV series after the success of a Painkiller Jane made-for-TV movie.
