Titan Books will release The Cream of Tank Girl in October.  This 208-page, $29.95, 9” x 12” hardcover will  feature rarely seen artwork from Tank Girl co-creator Jamie Hewlett (Gorillaz); new commentary from co-creator and series writer Alan Martin; the “lost Hewlett and Martin comics; a new interview with Jamie Hewlett by Alan Martin; unseen Tank Girl poster art, a Tank Girl cover gallery, and more. 

 

The Art of J.C. Leyndecker, a 256-page, $39.95, 9” x 12” hardcover, will also be available in October.  It will feature the commercial art of Joseph Christian Leyendecker, known for his Arrow Collar ads, World War I propaganda posters, and hundreds of Saturday Evening Post covers. 

 

And Creative Illustration, out in September, will feature the art and instruction of Andrew Loomis, the premier commercial illustrator in America in the 1940s and 1950s.  His classic instruction manuals have gone through many printings. Creative Illustration, considered his magnum opus, is aimed primarily at the professional illustrator and is filled with instructions, insider experiences and Loomis’ incredible illustrations.
