Books winning or nominated for Eisner Awards may now be marked by Eisner Award seals on their covers.  The Awards program is making gold seals for winning titles and silver seals for nominated titles available to companies that wish to use them on their covers. 

Eisner Award spokesperson Jackie Estrada explained the program.  “Many publishers have been asking whether such seals are available to help booksellers and librarians choose award-quality graphic novels,” she said.  “It is for this reason that we are making these seals available.”  Publishers will be able to buy seals for existing books or books going back to press for reprinting.
