Midway Entertainment has released the box image for the upcoming Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Kollector’s Edition, which features an image created by Alex Ross.  Both the Regular Edition ($59.99) and the Kollector’s Edition ($69.99) will be released on November 10th.  The Kollector’s Edition comes with an exclusive removable print by Alex Ross as well as with bonus video content.  In addition, John Tobias, co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise, has drawn a 16-page comic published and printed by DC Comics that chronicles the shocking, universe shattering events that led up to the narratives explored in the video game.

In the game players will be able to pit characters from the Mortal Kombat universe against DC heroes and villains, who have had their powers modified in order to make the contests more even (see “DC Characters in Mortal Kombat Revealed”).
