Marvel is recruiting a writers group to work on scripts for its films, according to Variety.  The group will consist of up to five writers each year, some of which could be comic writers, who will be assigned specific plot points for movies already in development or characters Marvel wants to develop into future films.  Some of those efforts may be directed toward lesser-known Marvel characters. 

The writers will be salaried at levels up to $100k per year, according to the report.  Writers currently working on Marvel screenplays will not be included.
