Comic Den of Renton, Washington was damaged by a fire in its building on Thursday night, according to Renton Reporter. The fire in the century-old building was started by overloaded circuits in one of the boarding rooms above the store.
Owner Herb Wheatley told Renton Reporter on Friday that he planned to relocate to a vacant building. at least initially. Some inventory was salvageable, according to the report, and because of the focus on new comics rather than collectibles, the inventory loss was limited.
