Marcus King of Titan Games & Music in Kalamazoo, Michigan read the recent article about Columbia Pictures deciding to reboot the Spider-Man movie franchise (see "Columbia to Reboot 'Spider-Man'") and had this to say:

ICv2: "Columbia Pictures has decided to take Peter Parker back to high school and reboot the Spider-Man franchise, which means that Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and all those who helped make the Spider-Man franchise so successful are SOL."

Do you mean "other" than the millions they were paid for their work and the royalty checks they are still receiving?  My response to that sentiment would be "wah!"  Spider-Man is older then Toby Maguire and he didn't invent him, nor really do any more than he was paid to do.  I like my carpeting, but I don't feel as if I were to need new carpet, I would be obligated to use the same company that installed this carpet.

I wonder how Sean Connery would feel about that?  As I am sure Toby Maguire was treated far superior to how ol Sean was by the 007 franchise.  Toby could also take a lesson from Sean, and never say never again.
