Synopsis:
Issue #1 reveals an eternal rivalry set against the backdrop of the history of WWE.  Why is the ruthless Shadow King so obsessed with the WWE?  What is the reason for his eternal and supernatural war with the Firstborn?  And could his ancient opponent really be a member of the WWE roster?

Some choice quotes from the creative team:

Andy Smith -- Artist
What was special for you about this project?
I think the WWE is the closest thing to live comic books as you can get!

Why should readers pick up the WWE comic?
Because it is super cool! Seriously though, it's a high action story with some supernatural themes that will appeal to the straightforward super hero type readers, as well as die hard WWE fans!

Keith Champagne -- Writer
What's your favourite scene from the comic?
I've got two, the cliffhangers at the end of the first and second issues.  The end of the first issue, I hope, will make the reader go, "Whoah!  Didn't see that coming!" and the end of the second issue is really the moment where it becomes clear that we're not just throwing muck at a wall to see what sticks.  There's a bigger plan beginning to unfold.

Liam Sharp -- Cover Artist
Where did you get your inspiration for the cover image?
I think it came from three sources--one was a Sean Connery Bond movie poster provided by the client, the next are classic Barbarian-style paintings by Frazetta et al, and finally there's the kind of showbiz glitz you get with big league wrestling, so it had to have a good slice of that cheese and not take itself too seriously!
