John Landgraf, head honcho at the FX cable network, has confirmed that a pilot based on Brian Michael Bendis’ Powers comic book series is “in the works.”  Landgraf also confirmed that Bendis was working with writer/producer Kevin Falls on the project.  Falls has a great track record on the small screen having written and produced episodes of the highly regarded  The West Wing and Sports Night.  Falls also created the late, lamented Journeyman science fiction series for NBC, which deftly mixed overriding serial drama plotlines with engrossing weekly episode narratives.

FX’s Landgraf told Premium Hollywood that Bendis and Falls “have got a good take on it (Powers).  They came in about two months ago and pitched what they were doing and it was great.”
