The expansion of the Wizard World Comic Con Tour continued today with the announcement of the acquisition of Cincinnati Comic & Anime Show.  Wizard World’s Gareb Shamus bought the rights to the Cincinnati show from Marc Ballard, who sponsored the first Cincinnati show last year.  The new show will be known as the Cincinnati Comic Con Wizard World Convention.  No dates have been set for the 2010 show yet.

The Cincinnati announcement comes a week after Wizard World  added its ninth show for 2010, the New Jersey Comic Con Wizard World Convention, which will take place at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, New Jersey from October 15-17, just one week after the conclusion of Reed Exhibition’s New York Comic Con and the Wizard World Big Apple Con, which will both be held in Manhattan over the same weekend.

The Queen City show is not the only Wizard World Comic Con event without a definite date yet.  The Atlanta Comic Con and the New England Comic Con still remain unscheduled, though the rest of the Wizard World Comic Con Tour is set with Toronto (March 26-28), Anaheim Comic Con (April 16-18), Philadelphia Comic Con (June 11-13), Chicago Comic Con (August 9-12), Big Apple Comic Con (Oct. 7-10), New Jersey Comic Con (Oct. 15-17), and the Austin Comic Con (Nov. 12-14).
