Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment division will release all 26 episodes of El-Hazard: The Wanderers in a complete DVD set on September 7th. It will offer both subtitled Japanese and English language audio options.
The series was produced by AIC, which also produced the popular Tenchi Muyo! It’s directed by Katsuhito Akiyama (Pumpkin Scissors, Dual!), with character designs by Kazuto Nakazawa (Samurai Champloo, House of Five Leaves). The storyline is an alternate universe re-imagining of the El-Hazard franchise.
Extras include line art gallery, full color art gallery, clean openings, 1 and 2, clean closing, animated comics 1 and 2, and Nozomi trailers. MSRP is $39.99.
