Mark Craddock of Comic Book World in Florence, Kentucky has been following the recent discussion regarding Diamond's "Day Early Delivery" survey (see "Diamond Surveys Tuesday Comics") and had this to say:
I deeply appreciate Diamond taking a serious look at early delivery for its accounts. However, in my market having new DVDs on released to me on Tuesday would not allow us to truly be competitive since our cost from Diamond is at or more than other channels for the same product. I'm fairly certain that is true of more than just this market, as well. I'm also not complaining about Diamond's cost to us, just pointing out that it's not the best selling point. I'm happy to keep comics on Wednesday and would truly appreciate having my stores receive them on Tuesday, but will take what I can get if it's a day early.
